A pleonasm with too much life. The classic white shirt raised to chaos — and tamed through the day by hidden drawstrings.
This shirt is a pleonasm: the classic white shirt, which already is one by nature — raised to chaos. Extra oversized, with too much life on purpose. I created the problem first. Then I wore the piece and had to invent the means to control it: drawstrings hidden in channels sewn into the shirt itself, pulled tighter or looser to give it whatever shape we want. You keep taming it through the day — the piece adapts to the person, never the other way around.
That was always the intention: taming what has too much life. Under the volume, the usual rigour — the channels are construction, not decoration; every gather has a measured path. And it’s beautiful to see it move, to see all the possibilities it hands you. A showstopper, no argument.
This is the real Piece Zero — photographed in the atelier as it was born, then handed to the AI for the studio portrait. Both versions tell the same truth.
