GHETTO — O LINEUP
The GHETTO collection lined up before the scissors. Dark denim, white poplin and seven silhouettes marching out of the terminal.

The GHETTO collection lined up before the scissors. Dark denim, white poplin and seven silhouettes marching out of the terminal.
A collection is not a pile of cute pieces — it’s a complete sentence, and every look is a word in the right order. The eternal problem: how do you test the whole sentence before cutting the first metre of denim? Drawing one look at a time is easy; seeing all seven side by side, arguing with each other, is where the eye catches what doesn’t belong.
The GHETTO lineup came out of the same place everything comes out of here: the pipeline. Silhouettes aligned on a board, proportions comparable, the vocabulary in plain sight — dark denim with yellow topstitching, white poplin, sculpted boots, shirt-dresses, jumpsuits, waistlines in charge. The machine keeps the line-up straight and the maths coherent between looks; I add and remove words until the sentence sounds right.
GHETTO is the street walking into the atelier without wiping its feet — and tailoring receiving the visit in a tie. Denim is the most democratic material there is, and that’s exactly why it deserves silk-grade rigour. The lineup is still alive: some looks will fall, others will mutate. But the sentence already reads. And it reads loud.
