O CÓDIGO É A NOVA SEDA?

Is code the new silk? The question deserves to be asked in full — and here is the answer, straight away: yes. Not for fashion’s sake, not for marketing. Because it makes sense in the era we live in. The rest of this post is the justification.

The Technical Problem

Traditional 3D was a drag to learn and it kept blocking my flow. Every piece of software was a closed door with a three-hundred-page manual and zero fun. Instead of frustration, I found the idea of hacking the process funny. I thought: hold on — if AI is code, and I know how to handle code, why am I fighting closed fashion tools? The question became an open door.

The Solution (Code/Pipeline)

I started playing with the developers’ tools — JSON, the Linux terminal, agents. I turned my machine into a playful laboratory. Orchestrating these agents to do the maths of the patterns became my new loom. I even built the Meia engine, just for the fun of having my own ecosystem — a parametric modelling system that speaks the language of the atelier and the language of code at the same time. It isn’t a bought tool, it’s a homemade construction. It has the advantage of being exactly what I need and the disadvantage of being mine alone.

Critical Analysis

AVELAR doesn’t hide behind the mysticism of the “suffering creator”. I take on AI with a smile on my face. It’s incredibly liberating and fun to be not just the guy with the scissors, but the orchestrator who sets the machine loose to create absurd and wonderful things. The tool is not the piece — the piece is the piece. But the tool changes the speed at which I get there, and the grace of the journey. Where there used to be a dead end of closed software, there is now a terminal full of agents arguing about proportions while I drink my coffee. It’s the job I wanted from the start — it just took code to invent it.

So: is code the new silk? It is. Because in the current era there is only one rule — update yourself or disappear! Silk stays on the cutting table; code is what gets it there faster. Whoever treats both with the same respect keeps the future. The others keep the three-hundred-page manual.
