PIECE 1 — CAMISA CINZA

The conceptual playground of the Nómada phase. Indian ink, white glue and a hearty goodbye to boring perfection.

This is Piece One — the one born when I decided AVELAR would not be another solemn atelier. Syringe-fed white glue instead of fine starch, the iron forcing the pleats into place, Indian ink until the grey poplin got the attitude of someone just back from a long night. We already know how to do the classics — now let’s have some fun.

But careful: the fit on the body is exact, the hem sits where it should, the collar doesn’t apologize. Playing is not sloppiness — it’s playing with every rule in plain sight. The machine solved the mathematics of the patterns; I kept the anarchy on top.
